This role is responsible for managing successful enrollment strategies for membership growth and re-enrollments, in partnership with the marketing, sales, implementation, and account management teams. This role will help manage enrollment contractor recruiting, training, guiding, and supporting onsite/virtual member engagement team, virtual enrollment communications, and platform/technology strategies to improve engagement and program participation. The candidate will help support member engagement efforts, drive change and provide thought leadership in support of Commercial member growth and profitability goals.

What you will do

Monitor execution of medical & voluntary enrollment strategies and results, and find opportunities for improvement to achieve desired goals. Collaborate with Marketing Strategists, Sales, and Account Management teams to assure the organization has a robust re-enrollment strategy and resources to drive successful outcomes. Partner with Enrollment Director to develop strategic enrollment solutions that align to customer needs, meet partner objectives, and align to business goals. Define, collect, and report on enrollment metrics. Develop best practices to optimize enrollment results

  • Engage with enrollment partners at the Sales and Operational partners to promote enrollment best practices. Leverage Benadmin & enrollment partnerships to optimize member experience and enrollment outcomes. Develop tools and resources to grow the self-service/platform-based enrollment business. Align operational capabilities in support of online/platform enrollment. Identify and coordinate enrollment resources, as needed

  • Collaborate with National & Large Client Marketing partners and Field to align to client communication strategies and support development and review of virtual enrollment collateral/assets.

  • Identify and utilize emerging forms of employee education and communication to drive employee engagement (value adds, decision support, etc.) Build and present voluntary/enrollment materials in support of internal training

  • Collaborate with sales and operations to identify and support process improvements that drive increased member-level persistency and improve the customer experience.

  • Support the Marketing team in platform evaluation with a focus on engagement, communication capabilities, and customer experience. Define and develop enrollment workflows. Remain current on competitive data, trends, and opportunities; adjust strategies to optimize enrollment results and build competitive marketplace advantage

Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 5 years of marketing experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • master's a plus.

  • For URAC accredited areas the following applies: Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Managed care experience preferred.

  • Experience in healthcare marketing, group benefits, voluntary benefits enrollment strategy, and data analytics

  • In-depth understanding of benefit enrollment vehicles, process, and timelines, including factors that drive successful engagement

  • Detailed knowledge of group benefits including Medical, Life, Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital indemnity

  • Proven track record to develop and execute creative enrollment strategies that deliver desired results

  • Understanding of broker and enrollment platform partner drivers to effectively create solutions that support client needs and meet collective business goals

  • Understanding of enrollment platform capabilities and associated technologies including an understanding of eligibility, billing, claims, and evidence of insurability options.

  • Master's a plus.

  • Project management experience

  • Experience developing marketing and customized client communication materials
