About the job:
The UX Designer Sr position is responsible for the navigation, organization and interaction design for leading-edge web solutions and applications. Applies user-centered design methods to translate user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities into best in class user experiences.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Design responsive experiences
Mobile experience design
Specialized design tasks such as: photo editing, creating icons, etc.
Collaborate with team members and integrate feedback into designs
Creates the best design production based on project needs
Present work to internal UX stakeholders
Understand project requirements and concepts
Staying current on industry and design trends
Creating prototypes
Creates presentations
Works with art directors to produce style guidelines defining our products visual identity
Creates the best design production based on project needs.
Mentors and provides guidance to junior designers.
Direct client interaction experience
Building relationships, understanding requirements, presenting design concepts
Conceptual thinking
Experience working with all of designers, developers, copy writers, and product owners
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in a design discipline or 5-7 years relevant experience in a consumer facing design capacity; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Web based Portfolio displaying your best work and 2 case studies
Up to 25% travel required.
