The Talent Acquisition Strategy Director is responsible for enabling business growth and priorities by defining, orchestrating and executing end-to-end talent acquisition strategies for assigned business group(s)
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Develop strong business relationships to forecast and enable TA to hire extraordinary talent within expected service levels (e.g. Time to fill)
Design and help execute talent sourcing strategies to improve diverse talent pipelines
Develops talent strategy and plans (including staffing plans) for the business by leveraging business relationships, acumen and talent data and insights
Serve as the primary point of accountability for TA by developing strong business relationships with Senior Business Leaders and HR Business Partners aligned to the business
Consult with Senior Business Leaders to help solve strategic business opportunities and develop / deliver targeted hiring plans
Prepare TA operational teams, especially Leadership Recruiting, for intake discussions with relevant data and talking points
Support growth hiring by developing sourcing strategies and analyzing labor markets alongside the TA programs and operational teams
Provide feedback and guidance to TA Leadership to support continuous improvement on TA model, strategies, programs and operations
Support TA Leadership in creating talent acquisition performance KPIs / SLAs and adjusting strategies
Own the selection and implementation of competency and behavior-based assessments, partnership with the Talent Management COE
Stay abreast of labor market conditions, including talent supply and skills demand
Ensure all departmental artefacts (job summaries / descriptions, policies, standard operating procedures, job aids, process maps, etc.) are kept current and accurate by being aware of the changing nature of work
Partners with Diversity, Field HR, Employee Relations and Legal to ensure policy, practice and process are regulatory and legal
Qualifications
Experience/Education:
Requires a BA degree Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration (major) in Industrial & Labor Relations, Human Resources, Marketing, or Communications field; 8 years of talent acquisition experience – strategic and operational; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience influencing teams and executing projects in a large, matrix organization
Experience creating TA strategies, such as strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives, etc.
Experience interpreting data to develop hiring plans and make hiring decisions
Experience researching labor market statistics
Healthcare insurance or managed care experience preferred
People leadership experience preferred
Graduate degree (MS/MA, MBA) Preferred
Professional HR / TA Certification Preferred
