Security Analyst Sr
Creates and maintains Information Security documentation for use throughout the Anthem enterprise
Provides input to enterprise security solutions for business, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Ensures that confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets is addressed via documentation and guidance.
Awareness of key security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA, and PCI.
Ability to provide clear, concise, and structured documentation.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, while leading a team that may include stakeholders from across IT and compliance organizations, understands project management approaches, including but not limited to: agile and waterfall methods.
Performs hand-on research and works with SMEs to identify user needs and use cases in order to communicate complex technical topics to end users. Ability to understand and synthesize technical information provided by subject matter experts.
Develops schedules and milestones to ensure timely completion of the project deadlines, including identification of scope changes, critical path items, dependencies, audit requirements, and others.
Communicates document publication to key stakeholders across business units, including other IT leadership and policy and standards teams.
Working knowledge of key security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA, and PCI.
Perform analysis regarding coverage of risks, gaps, and processes in current policy documentation; recommend improvements.
Prepares cost-benefit justifications for management, including workload assessments and resource allocation for projects.
Identifies improvement opportunities and leads process changes that improve work intake and project-tracking.
Ensures effective content management approach to document delivery and accessibility for audit and compliance needs using SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and other Anthem enterprise systems.
Creates presentations and training sessions
Prerequisites and Required Skills
A minimum of 3-5 years IT or information security, or related support role
Working knowledge of and enthusiasm for information security and general technology concepts, and nomenclature
Technical security training, education, or certification preferred
Strong time and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while managing deadlines and competing priorities
Strong team player
Impeccable grammar, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and follow style and usage guidelines
BS/BA Degree – focus in Information Technology preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office productivity applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint
