Provider Reimbursement Manager
Central area locations preferred: IN, KY, WI, MO, OH, GA
*This is a remote/work-from-home opportunity. The selected candidate will be required to commute to an Anthem location, occasionally for business needs and should reside within 50 miles from an Anthem location.
The Provider Reimburse Manager manages key components of the provider reimbursement strategy.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Leads the development of pricing methodology and configuration.
Works with Provider Solutions, Health Economics, and Pricing IT to ensure that accurate pricing is created and implemented for provider reimbursement.
Performs and/or directs complex pricing configuration to ensure that projected unit reimbursement changes meet corporate cost targets.
Provides upfront collaboration and advisement for hospital and physician negotiations.
Maintains the provider reimbursement strategy that will lower the cost of care, improve service, and reduce administrative expenses.
Manages special projects and initiatives.
Assists with inventory management.
Researches and resolves complex pricing and configuration issues as they arise, to reach a resolution.
BA/BS degree in a related field; 7+ years reimbursement experience including performing detailed financial modeling and economic analyses; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
CPA, MGA, MBA or other equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Intense knowledge of WGS and other pricing systems is strongly preferred.
