Responsible for enhancing the profitability of the pharmacy segment with concentration on rebate programs.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs data and financial and trend analysis of pharmacy claims and rebate information to identify opportunities for new revenue.

  • Investigates, reports on and provides guidance on issues, challenges, and solutions related to formulary positions, rebate contracts including vendor issues, and pharma programs.

  • Identifies emerging drug changes and presents those for action.

  • Tracks and manages details of rebate agreements, ensuring understanding of setup and contract essentials

  • Handles day-to-day activities/inquiries associated with rebate contracts and formulary decisions with internal departments and outside companies.


Requires a BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; 3+ years of experience in contract administration, financial analysis, data extraction and manipulation; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience with pharmaceutical products, including familiarity with pharmaceutical and health care terminology, drug category knowledge, contract terminology and service agreements strongly preferred. Prior pharmacy benefit management experience desired.
