National Government Services (NGS) - Subject Matter Expert (SME) Lead
Open to any NGS location including the following: Indianapolis-IN, Harrisburg-PA, Syracuse-NY, and Hingham-MA; may consider a remote arrangement pending background and experience
The NGS SME Lead will be responsible for providing support to operational areas. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Coordination and implementation of cross-department initiatives, analyzes the needs and gaps, identifies solutions, best practices, provides consultation, and implements corrective action plans.
Leads and develops training and content.
Provides monthly, quarterly and/or annual reporting and quality reviews or audits per departmental needs and requirements.
Tracks and monitors continuous improvement suggestions, partners with IT staff to develop business requirements, supports testing of technology enhancements and serves as the primary point of contact.
Leads and provides leadership and partnership in problem solving, development of processes and solutions, operational effectiveness, and performance.
Researches, reviews, analyzes, and interprets Medicare policy and provides feedback on Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
Supports, provides oversight, and leads initiatives and projects.
Assists leadership team with project planning and implementation.

Requires BA/BS degree in business, learning, education, instructional design or project management, 7 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Some travel may be required.
Must have experience with Medicare Part A, Home Health & Hospice, and the Fiscal Intermediary Standard System (FISS).
The ability to research claims and identify potential system issues is preferred.
Good understanding of change management and ability to interpret Change Requests to identify impacts to operational processes.
Proficient in Excel, Word, SharePoint. Experience creating reports in Microstrategy is preferred.
