Learning Experience Designer II

Location(s): Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN

The Learning Experience Designer II is responsible for analyzing, designing, building, and implementing business-aligned, integrated learning solutions using a variety of techniques and tools. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborates with business partners on expected business outcomes.

  • Participates in needs analysis and recommends effective learning solutions.

  • Collaborates with other content developers, graphic designers, technology consultants, technologists, and other project team members on design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.

  • Uses all approved processes, tools and templates to standard for development and reporting.

  • Actively maintains all content. Participates in quality review process.

  • Participates in and contributes to Learning & Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill.

  • Must be highly organized, flexible and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, deadline-oriented environment, while managing competing demands simultaneously.

  • Innovative and visionary mindset required to strategically drive the transformation of the learning experience.

  • Knowledge of relevant course delivery platforms and Learning Management Systems required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact frequently with technical subject matter experts and management representing project milestones and risks, business requirements and other key concepts.

  • Self-motivated, innovative, and able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner.

Qualifications

Requires BA/BS in related field and 2 or more years training and development experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Degree in Instructional Design, Human Performance Technology, Education strongly preferred.

  • Experience with AI or Automation preferred.

  • Skilled in eLearning and video/audio authoring tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Assima and basic HTML.
