Responsible for working with associates and leaders across Information Security to ensure the execution of key initiatives and projects align to business commitments and strategy. Areas of focus include Information Security Strategic and Annual Planning, financial analysis, trend analysis, resource management, vendor governance, and cost and budget management. As a Senior Advisor, you will help shape the Information Security portfolio and direction by applying strategic data analysis, skills, tools, and techniques to directly influence the success of the team’s solutions and services.
A successful candidate will have expertise and demonstrated success as a thought leader with a track record of delivering results for large-scale initiatives. Key to your success will be the ability to navigate the complexities of a large organization, and a relentless drive to confront and resolve issues and, as applicable, see solutions scale across the organization. You will be looked to as a trusted partner and problem solver, helping all stakeholders overcome obstacles and guiding solutions forward.
Supports Annual and Strategic planning for Information Security, partnering with key stakeholders, business groups and the Information Security leadership team to develop an integrated business plan
Assists Information Security Chief of Staff by providing analyses, projections and reporting, synthesizing business and technical information to key stakeholders with high attention to detail
Translates complex information into value-based, easy to understand formats including graphical displays
Leverages organizational strategy to identify business talent needs and works collaboratively with the leadership team and Human Resources to facilitate effective workforce planning activities
Help provide governance and oversight of Information Security vendors
Develops and socializes a variety of Information Security guidance to help manage expectations, develop shared understanding and ensure consistency in approach across the organization
Champions associate development and closely tracks the internal talent pipeline, including managing and maturing the OCISO onboarding program
Evaluates directives, change orders, and projects to assess their impact on security strategic plans, budgets, and contract compliance
Partners with leaders of initiatives to scale high value, technology-enabled solutions by identifying resources and risks, managing quality and cost expectations, and developing program/project tracking plans.
Actively engages and advises stakeholders; Manages multiple large-scale projects/programs on overlapping deadlines with minimal oversight.
Tracks outcomes and manages activities and program performance in accordance with budget and strategic direction.
Documents processes in language that is clear and understandable to non-technical audiences

Minimum Requirements: BS/BA in information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in Information Security or Information Technology; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and competing agendas without direct authority over delivery teams

Analytical aptitude and data-driven decision making
Strong interpersonal skills (with leaders and peers)
Advanced skills with MS-Office and other related PC applications
Strong presentation skills; ability to visually represent complex ideas clearly and succinctly
