The Financial Consultant position is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team that supports the Government Chief Operating Officer and will have responsibility for GBD IT and GBD Execution & Process Redesign. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: •Reviews and prepares interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. •Maintains various processes, tools, and models needed to support budgeting and forecasting scenario assumptions and project costing analysis. •Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions. •Analysis of financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support. •Development of the annual budget and forecast along with monthly reporting of actual results, including variance analysis and explanation. •Prepare Journal Entries for Direct Administrative Expenses. •Conduct Staffing Analysis, such as FTE (Full Time Equivalent) and or Headcount Analysis. •Advise management of various financial models and recommendations. Prepare summary and detailed presentations. Qualifications

•Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; 3-5 years’ experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. •MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred •Excel, Hyperion and PeopleSoft experience preferred. •Experience with IT Finance preferred
