Financial Analyst Senior
Responsible for preparing financial and business related analyses and researching in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, business improvement, and business investment opportunities. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Prepares budgets, forecasts, trend analyses and expense accruals.
Provides information for various monthly journal entries.
Compiles and prepares standard and adhoc financial reports.
Responsible for reviewing and preparing interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions, and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency.
Advises management of various financial models and recommendations.
Prepares complex presentations.
Prepares financial planning, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports. Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments.
Trains and reviews the work of lower level Financial Analysts.
Financial Consultant Senior
Responsible for providing financial analysis and preparing analysis of results for lines of business. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Works with management to provide decision support analysis.
Conducts and documents complex financial and business related analyses and research fields including financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.
Focuses on business improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.
Provides guidance to less experienced financial consultants.
Financial Analyst Sr.
- Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting or an approved Finance internship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; 3-5 years experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Financial Consultant Sr.
- Requires a BS/BA in accounting or finance; at least 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications for all levels
Experience analyzing data, using SQL, or similar scripting language
Excellent financial, scenario-based modelling experience
Understand accounting policies, controls, and financial statements
Proficient in using enterprise financial applications as provided by Oracle, SAP
Microsoft, and Google
Experience with Essbase
Strong written and verbal communication skills
MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA
