Director Sales Behavioral Health / Employee Assistance Program

Responsible for directing sales and/or account management retention activities for the company's BH and EAP products. Typically directs sales and/or renewal activities with annual Premium Equivalents less than $500 million and membership less than 100,000 contracts.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: - Develops BH-EAP account management strategies, targets, and plans in collaboration with Account Management, Clinical Account Management, Health Economics, BH and Clinical Solutions, Sales and Consultation relations. - Hires, trains coaches, and evaluates performance of direct reports and motivates staff to aid in achieving membership and financial goals. - Serves as leadership representative in client and prospect meetings. - Provides sales presentations and attends regular account meetings directly with external customers.


Minimum qualifications: Requires 5 years clinical experience in EAP-BH program administration, 8 years of professional leadership experience in account management, consulting, client reporting and analysis, BH-EAP and clinical operations, or business management; experience working with various health care vendors including carriers, specialty vendors and data analytics vendors; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills required.
