Responsible for leading and managing the direction of a team that monitors the operation of IT controls covering a broad scope of the IT environment. This role has significant strategic business impact as it helps to ensure effective IT controls throughout the organization and prepares IT leaders and controls owners for successful SOC1, SOC2 and SOX audits. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Interfaces with key leaders and control owners within Information Technology (IT)
Oversees monitoring of key IT controls including logical security, change management, computer operations, vulnerability management, disaster recovery and business continuity
Develops efficient and effective audit strategies and facilitates the execution of those strategies to optimize IT control performance and outcomes
Manages the overall monitoring of IT controls across the entire environment, including subsidiaries and key outsourced vendors
Oversees strategic planning, budget development, and management for a single large or multiple cost centers, contract compliance, and any necessary integration of government regulatory requirements or additional audit requirements
Plans and executes annual projects while maintaining profit and loss (P&L) responsibility
Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires BA/BS in Information Systems or related field; 8+ years of IT audit management experience, broad knowledge of the function/area being managed, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. CISSP or CISA preferred. Health insurance industry experience preferred. MBA preferred.
