Business Information Consultant – IngenioRx Analytics and Revenue - PS53089
Location: Mason, OH; Atlanta, GA; Virginia Beach, VA this position is a remote opportunity. Additional locations will be considered.
The Business Information Consultant will support the reporting and analytical needs of clinical and specialty pharmacy programs and products. This position will be responsible for serving as an expert in data analysis, reporting, formulating recommendations and providing guidance to other data analysts.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Analyze and design solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs.
Create and publish periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
Own and maintain outcomes and savings reporting solution in SAS.
Develop detailed understanding of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
Fulfill reporting needs for various internal and external customers.
Collaborate with business and technical areas to implement new or enhanced products/reports.
Resolve complex problems by developing and improving automated solutions.
May require strong knowledge of existing products as well as our internal business models and data systems.
May make recommendations based upon data analysis.
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field; minimum of 5 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is required.
Ability to manipulate large sets of data.
Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
This job is more focused on higher level technical expertise, mentoring staff in lower job levels, more customer facing, higher level of collaboration, work is higher volume and/or higher risk, and modeling as compared to the Bus Info Analyst Sr job.
Extensive experience using SQL and SAS to pull, summarize, and analyze data from various relational databases (SQL Server, Teradata, and/or Oracle).
Knowledge of query tools and statistical software is required. Ability to manipulate large sets of data.
Experience pulling and analyzing claims, membership, and other data from EDWard and other Enterprise data warehouses.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, planning and presentation skills.
Must have Pharmacy experience.
Must have strong SQL skills.
Hands-on knowledge with medical claims highly preferred.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
