Location: Remote (100%)
Responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Independently ideate, research, and develop new payment integrity concepts, models, and algorithms.
Develops visualization of developed concepts
Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.
Performs modeling of information sources and flows.
May coordinate the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.
The majority of time will be spent developing new concepts.
Conducts training on use of applications developed.
Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred. Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages required.
Healthcare Industry Experience (payer or vendor)
Payment Integrity (AHFI: Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator)
Healthcare Coding (Certified Professional Coder)
Business Information Application (Domo, Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) and programming/query languages is strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization is strongly preferred.
