The Business Consultant is responsible for translating moderately complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments.
Must reside within a commutable distance to an Anthem office
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Partners with technical teams to determine specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
Analyzes proposed design solutions to address ensure complex and varied business needs are addressed.
Consults with business partners concerning application efficacy and implementation of technology, accounting for prioritization of business needs.
Acts as a resource to users of the software to support education and use, and to address questions/issues.
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 8 years business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Ability to travel maybe required.
Experience with Medicaid [Medicare experience also helpful, but not required]
Knowledge of Product Owner and Stakeholder roles in Agile-based software development lifecycle
